I grew up in Clifton Arizona and graduated from Clifton High School in 1985. I was third to the youngest in a family of six girls and five boys. In 1990 I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Biology. While at the U of A I attended Harvard University and studied anatomy and physiology at Harvard school of medicine. I also studied for three months at UCLA in California pre-medical studies. For an additional three months I studied at New York Medical College and as a result was accepted to medical school there. In 1995 I completed medical school and was accepted to the University of Arizona Health and Science Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.

During this residency I trained with plastic surgeon Dr. Samimi on abdominoplasty (tummy tucks) and other procedures. I have practiced in Nogales since 1999 and perform gynecological and obstetric surgery at Holy Cross Hospital in Nogales Arizona, and University Medical Center, St. Joseph's Hosptal and Camp Lowell Surgery center in Tucson Arizona. Our Cosmetic surgeries are performed at my operating room in Nogales Arizona and if needed in Scottsdale Arizona. People save literally thousands of dollars by having surgery in my office because we own the facility and there is no additional surgery room fee passed on to the client. A typical example is the abdominal love handle liposuction with tummy tuck costing around $ 16,000.00 dollars in Scottsdale or Tucson would be around $ 7900.00 dollars at my office including all post-op visits and anesthesia.

With over 19 years of surgical experience I continue to bring state of the art technology and surgical techniques to our office and community including Botox and other non-surgical techniques.. We have invested over 1million dollars on various lasers, Vaser technology, facial/microdermabrasion machines and our surgery suit. I have trained for cosmetic procedures in Tucson, Scottsdale, Ohio, Florida, California and work with plastic surgeons from Scottsdale and Mexico City and Brazil. I like to use techniques that are safe and practical with predictable results. Our office has over 10,000 hours of liposuction and fat transfer experience and we enjoy an excellent safety profile.

I am Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and been practicing Obstetrics in Nogales, AZ since 1999 and have delivered over 5,000 babies and continue to deliver safe and affordable care to Arizona's pregnant moms. You should deliver your baby with us because we offer complete Obstetrics care at our clinic. We perform an ultrasound on your baby every visit whether your insurance pays or not. We include these sonograms because we all have children and remember what itis like to watch our kids grow from visit to visit. I also believe this offers me more chances to catch the rare baby that may have a problem with growth or amniotic fluid or a syndrome. When needed, we work with high risk centers in Tucson and Phoenix to complete your care.
